The Parents Association (PA) dedicates itself to serving parents by facilitating communication between parents and the school through regular meetings between the Executive  Committee, Principals, and the school leadership team to discuss various issues. By God’s grace, we stand as a unified community to serve and glorify Him. 

The PA seeks to promote our student body's academic, spiritual, and social development.  We also help bring the community together by sharing resources, connecting, and learning. PA’s buddy program matches new families with existing student families to help them integrate into the new community. Coffee chats with Principals, Uniform Swaps,  Book Swaps, Christmas and Chinese New Year Campus Decorations, graduation booth setup, and parenting courses are numerous ways to help support parents and the community.  

PA also gathers the community through regular prayer groups, Central lunches, and Fall family events, to name a  few. PA has been invited to take on an active role in the school bus vendor tendering committee, uniform tendering committee, lunch service tendering committee, and the school accreditation process.  

Building a culture of appreciation is another facet of the PA. We gather parents to organize appreciation breakfasts, lunches, and gifts for the faculty and supporting staff to cheer them on and share the love throughout the year.  

PA delights in gathering our community to know and share the gospel through gospel-centered courses, and in the past, Christmas gospel gift tags and gospel track in Lai see packets were distributed in the community.  

We welcome the community to join the Parents Association as regular volunteers in various events to serve and bless others at ICS, making ICS a place where the light of Christ shines, and the love of God overflows for the glory of God! The PA is run by the Executive Committee (ExCo), which is under the governance of the ICS  School Board of Trustees. The ExCo team of parents includes representatives (Reps) from each of our two campuses – Kindergarten, Elementary, and Secondary, Prayer Coordinators and officers.
